The small symbol of an open palm: a hello, a welcome, a door open to possibility.  Hand cut and carved in a jasper by stone carver Lala Ragimov.  An ancient symbol, and ancient stone, both treated with a veil of modernity.

This particular type of jasper is akin to that found in ancient Egyptian artifacts.  It would have been used in an array of ways: as vessels, statues, jewelry.  This ancient context married with a contemporary signet style pays equal parts homage to the present and the past.  The signet base has been carved from wax, with a soft, rounded interior and exterior, its tactile, subtle, and the heavy bezel rises to perfectly house the jasper which sits just above the gold giving the stone additional glory.
