A delicate pair of earrings, made of filigree sterling silver that has been plated with gold (vermeil). The earrings are fashioned in the shape of a flower in intricate filigree patterns. A turquoise cabochon takes a center position and the flower hangs by a chain and links to the posts which in turn have a little turquoise cabochon. The earring dangle part is exactly the same on front and back, so each earring has two turquoise cabochons, one at the front and one at the back. The butterfly earring stop is marked silver. This pair is a China export item. They are stud earrings that are quite light and comfortable to wear in good new old stock vintage condition with no wear to the gilt.
